Svojanov Castle is a romantic venue for weddings. The ceremony takes place at the gothic garden, in the Empire Palace or in the Knight hall of the House of armigers. Banquets take place in banquet hall in the House of armigers or in Hunting lounge. Thanks to the possibility of accommodation in the castle, you can extend your festive event for the whole weekend. All gastronomic services are ensured for you.

Wedding ceremonies are usually held at the gothic garden. But Svojanov Castle also offers several indoor options. In the Empire Palace is the possibility of preparing a ceremony in a late gothic pillar hall (column hall) or in a female lounge. Ceremony with a medieval atmosphere offers the Knights' hall of House of armigers. If you wish, we can prepare a ceremony in almost any part of the castle.

The first thing you have to do if you want to have wedding on Svojanov Castle is reserve the date at registry office of Municipal Authority in Bystré, which also provides administrative formalities of civil wedding ceremony (contact- Mrs. Báčová, phone: 461 741 241; e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ), and then at the Svojanov Castle. After confirmation of the date by registry office, we are concluding a contract with one of the fiancés where the date, price and conditions of the wedding ceremony are given. In the basic price, the castle Svojanov provides rental of premises for the wedding ceremony, opportunity of taking wedding photos in this space and in outdoor areas of the castle, basic floral decoration of wedding space and ensuring of recorded music during the ceremony. We also offer other services related to the wedding ceremony, ceremonial toast, extended flower arrangements, live music, ceremonial shot from a cannon, wedding reception and evening celebration, accommodation at the castle and other related program.

Parking of vehicles of wedding guests is possible in both car parks in front of the castle, upper car park is ussually closed for ordinary visitors and reserved only for weddings. Ordering of wedding guests takes place at the main entrance gate to the castle. From here the wedding procession passes to the location of the ceremony. In case of inclement weather, holding of wedding ceremonies is only possible in indoor areas of the castle. A competent person of castle administration decides about the necessity of moving the ceremony from outside to the interior. Capacity of the castle garden for the wedding ceremony is not limited, capacity of Pillar hall is suitable for up to 80 people, capacity of Female lounge is limited to a maximum of 30 people, capacity of the Knight's hall of the House of Armigers is 100 people. 20 seats on the benches is available in the garden, similar number of seats on the chairs in the interior areas. Number of seats can be increased by prior agreement. After the ceremony, it is possible to take photos at the premises of the wedding ceremony and in outdoor areas of the castle. Taking pictures of closest family in all historic interiors is possible after prior agreement with the management of the castle. There is a strict smoking ban in the whole area of the castle. Smoking is only allowed in a dedicated area before entering the castle.

The price for renting space is payable no later than the day before the wedding ceremony. Please note, the registry office requires administrative fee.

Wedding at the Svojanov Castle is possible to organize all year round. Specific date always depends on the agreement with the Registry Office of Municipal Authority in Bystré.
